Binjaw // Practical AI

AI you own. Not AI you rent.

Binjaw builds AI for teams in India and Germany who'd rather own their code than rent someone else's subscription. Short projects, working code, honest tradeoffs. No slide decks, no SaaS lock-in, no multi-quarter transformation programs.

What is Binjaw?

A sole-proprietor AI studio

Binjaw is a sole-proprietor AI studio building for non-enterprise clients in India and Germany. Three focused services — two-week automation sprints, fixed-price custom AI builds, and monthly technical advisory — plus a growing catalog of practical AI tools. One editorial voice: Spark. Self-funded. No decks.

04 · Field notes

From the blog.

Notes on practical AI, delivery tradeoffs, and what we’re shipping lately. Short pieces, written in the open.

05 · Principles

Two things we won’t compromise on.

Not testimonials — the operating principles we sign engagements against. If one of these becomes impossible mid-project, we renegotiate or refund.

Operating principle · Delivery
“Fixed scope engagements ship in the quoted window or we don’t charge the final milestone. If we misjudged, that’s on us — not on you.”
— Binjaw
Operating principle · Ownership
“You keep the code. Every line we write lands in your repository, with an architecture doc and a runbook. If Binjaw disappears tomorrow, your system still runs.”
— Binjaw

Frequently asked

Good questions,
straight answers.

Two weeks end-to-end. Week one: discovery call, written scope, and build. Week two: deployment to your stack, runbook, and handover. You then get 30 days of post-deploy support.
Yes. For both Automation Sprints and Custom AI Builds, the source code lands in your repo with deployment scripts. No SaaS lock-in, no proprietary wrapper layer, no hidden fees.
Multi-quarter "AI transformation" programs, consulting with no shipping deliverable, vague AI strategy projects, regulated medical or legal decisioning, and anything that needs a demo before the problem is defined.
Almost always, yes. Binjaw has shipped automations on n8n, Zapier, custom Python, Node, Go, and plain bash. We prefer whatever your team already runs — introducing new infrastructure is a cost, not a feature.
Fixed price, agreed upfront, based on a written scope. Typical range is 4 to 10 weeks. We write the architecture doc before we write any code — if the scope grows, we renegotiate; we do not bill hourly on a moving target.
A monthly retainer covering one 90-minute working session on a live decision, a written recommendation with reasoning, async Slack/email access for pointed questions, and one code or architecture review per month. No slide decks, no 50-page reports.
Case-by-case. If the work aligns with our mission (practical AI for non-enterprise) and the problem is compelling, we often adjust scope or pricing to make it work. Ask.
Germany (Europe base) and Mangalore, India (Asia-Pacific base). This covers most European and Asian business hours. We work async with clients in other regions.
Binjaw AI is our active division — it ships products and services. Binjaw VC is planned future venture investment in AI-native companies. VC is not active yet; we are building the foundation first.
